Stephen G. Waldis

Stephen Waldis has over 15 years experience in executive management for high technology and telecommunication companies in both operations and sales positions. Mr. Waldis started his career at AT&T in various technical and product management roles before moving to Logical Design Solutions as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where he launched company sales from under $2M to over $10M in just two years. Next, he joined Vertek Corporation as a partner and Chief Operating Officer. During those five years at Vertek, the company grew from under $2M to over $32M in sales, highly profitable, and no debt with offices in 5 states and over 350 employees. Since founding and becoming President and CEO of Synchronoss in 2001, the company grew to over $50M in sales in 5 years, and calls 8 of the top global tier one service providers its customers.

Waldis' success has not gone unnoticed, twice winning the prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year award for both NJ (Vertek) and PA (Synchronoss). His companies in the past 12 years have had an Average Compound Annual Growth rate of 114%. A trademark equity efficient entrepreneur and manager, his first two companies all grew and prospered with no outside capital and Synchronoss gained profitability with just one round of financing, turned profitable and free cash flow positive with almost half of the proceeds still residing on the company balance sheet. Mr. Waldis received a degree in corporate communications from Seton Hall University.
