Biography

Mark Denihan serves as Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President of Synchronoss, overseeing security strategy, compliance, and risk management across the company’s global operations, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, TRUSTe, and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification programmes. He also leads the company’s Irish entity in Dublin.

Mark brings 16 years of cybersecurity experience spanning offensive security, secure architecture, and executive leadership. Prior to Synchronoss, he held roles at IBM and Axway in ethical hacking and secure architecture. He is the founder of the OWASP Security Shepherd project, previously a board member of the OWASP Dublin chapter, and co-founder of the Irish chapter of the Honeynet Project.

Mark holds a Master of Science in Information Security and Digital Forensics from Technological University Dublin and a Bachelor of Science in Computing from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
